Harry Corrigan is a fucked up creep who sexually assaulted a young woman in Kent while on tour with his band Bellwether in summer 2012. He lives on Long Island and also plays in No Good News. Don’t support Bellwether ever for not taking the steps to address this issue that happened on their tour and they knew about. Don’t support No Good News until they kick Harry out of the band. Don’t support East Coast Collective for Jake Zimmerman being a rape apologist and continuing to manage them after the incident was brought to his attention. For more details of the incident press read more. Trigger warning for explicit detail of the incident.
Bellwether leaves for a couple weeks on their tour with Seaway. Help keep scenes across the US safe by bringing attention to the promoters and event pages. Each date links to an event for the show.

Try not to use lots of exclamation points or caps in your email as to not have it end up in someones spam folder.

I’m going to add that I was given permission to make this post. Before I post it she is going to read it and affirm that everything in this is true and represented in the way she wants it to be. She felt uncomfortable making it herself. She also felt uncomfortable being public about her identity. But everyone in Bellwether as well as Jake know exactly who I am talking about in this. Whether or not this *really happened* is not up for discussion.
A live video of a new song called “Ghostwriter” from our forthcoming LP on Mayfly Records.
Live at the Pill @ Great Scott, Allston, MA, April 26th 2013.
Hi. So our album drops a week from today. We’re really stoked on it. This show is happening a day after. It’s free. It’s in Boston. It’s with our best friends. You should come out and have a fun time yeah yeah.
John sent me this pictures of the boards the band he’s joining as the third (fun) guitarist are using. The band is Burglary Years. An indie/dream pop band from Boston.
Starting at the top is Zack Weeks’ board. He’s the bassist and always plays in the band Cerce. Awesome hardcore band from Boston. Tuner > Fuzz > SFT Clone > Bass Overdrive > CE-5 and then I don’t know what that Delay pedal is doing. It think it’s confused.
The next board is John Snyder’s. He also plays guitar in Native Wildlife a post-hardcore band from the area I really, really love. Tuner > HM-2 > Ernie Ball Jr > Box of Rock > DMM > El Capistan > WET Reverb.
Following that is Zac Suskevich’s board who also plays in Cerce. Interesting board. He runs a super gnarly Science amplifier, I assume he’s using it with these guys as well. Looks like Tuner > DL4 > OCD > Super Octave > Holy Grail Nano with a channel switcher footswitch. Beautiful Ric, too.
Last in line is Cooper Leardi’s board. Lookin’ like a Tuner > OCD > Hoof Fuzz > Ibanez CS9 > Some black thing > Tremolo > Zcat Big Reverb
Pretty cool boards. Cool dudes. I was in Boston last May and I think I might have been at one of their first shows. It was dope. Little different line up now. Stoked to see what they do.
Here are some links for you.
Both Native Wildlife and Cerce have new songs up on a compilation that was just released by Heads UP Records. It’s pretty gnarly stuff so check that out and remember to support local music and your scene.
Awesome music coming from that area out there. Pretty exciting seeing these bands grow.
Hi John, tehe.
For the past couple of days, Burglary Years has been tracking for our first full length record. We are recording with our good friend and even better engineer Alex to 24 track 2” tape with no digital gear in the chain. As anyone who knows me is aware; Burglary Years is my baby and dream-band. I’m very happy to finally hear these songs properly recorded with full instrumentation (though I play drums, bass, and guitar on these tracks because of the way uh things worked out).
The LP will be put out by the great Mayfly Records sometime this summer, ideally. I can’t wait to show this to people and it’s not even mixed yet.
